I have been teaching at Father Marquette for 20 years. I taught 1st grade
for 5 years and the last 15 years in 2nd grade.
My husband, Butch, is retired from CCI after working there for 30 years.
My oldest son, Eric, and my daughter-in-law, Melanie, live in Sparks, Nevada.
Melanie is a music teacher in a high school and Eric is an adjunct professor
in the music department of the University of Nevada-Reno.
My youngest son, AJ, is a junior in high school and loves skateboarding and
welding.
I have a black persian cat named Midnight who is very spoiled and loves to
sit on my lap when I am reading, on the computer and doing school work.
Every child can learn. However, every child does not learn the same way.
Identifying the learning style of each child and creating a curriculum that
will help each child to be successful in school is a priority. Building a
relationship of trust, safety and Christian love is the environment I strive
to create in my classroom.
Communication and partnership between parents and the school is vital for a
successful school experience for your child.
