Advent
Check out these fun advent wreaths! They're simple! 1/4C glue, 1/2C rice, and green food coloring. Mix and form into a wreath. Add 3 purple and 1 pink candle for the 4 weeks of Advent.
God's creation is a wondrous work of art! Learning about all the many gifts in his creation, the class was challenged to think of one visible sign of God's creation. They thought and thought and some found their visible sign outside and others on the internet. We are surrounded by God's beautiful creation everywhere we look! Take some time to enjoy it!
In fourth grade we are trying to be "bucket fillers" based on the book Have You Filled A Bucket Today? Students can write their name in a box when they have filled someone's bucket (including mine) by doing something kind, following directions, or standing out for any reason! As you can see our bucket board is starting to fill up. When filled, we will play "Bucket Bingo" for prizes!
This year, under the direction of Bishop Sample, the Diocese of Marquette adopted a new
Religion curriculum. Our school will be using the Faith First Legacy edition text for instruction.
Organized as a spiraling series, each year the students will focus on Scripture, Creed, Liturgy and
Sacraments, Morality and Prayer.
4th graders will have the opportunity to be altar servers this year. In addition, every 4th grader will serve the church by singing in the choir during school Masses.
