Hi Everybody!
My Name is Abby Shunk and I am proud to be a 5th Grade teacher at FMMS. I am Father Marquette
alumni and graduated from NMU in 2002. I began teaching at FMMS in 2005 and I just love it! I live
in Marquette with my husband Karl, daughter Lily and our dog Chester. I am currently teaching
Reading, Language Arts, and Religion. Stop by room 9 and say "Hi!" anytime.
My mission for my 5th graders this year is to fall in love with learning, not just in the subjects that I
teach, but in everything! Be passionate about your brain, it is the best learning tool that God has given
you.
