My child's math homework sometimes says to refer to the SRB. What is the SRB?

SRB stands for Student Reference Book. The students have this medium-sized,
hard cover book in their desks. The children are more than welcome to take
these books home in the evening to assist them with homework. However, I ask
that they be brought back to school everyday so that they may also be used
during our math lessons.

When are library books due back to school?

Library books are due back to school on Friday mornings. We are in the
library from 1:30-2:00 on Fridays.

When does my child need to bring their gym shoes to school?

We have gym on Mondays and Thursdays. I have found that students preferred
keeping their gym shoes in their locker at all times versus transporting them
from home-to-school-to-home during the year.

When should I expect papers to come home?

Our green homework folders are sent home on Monday. Completed homework
should be sent back to school in this folder by Friday. Students will receive
math homework during the week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and/or Thursday evenings)
that is due back the next day. White Friday
folders are sent home on Friday. Please review the contents of this folder
with your child and send the empty folder back to school with your child on
Monday.
