Homework

**The week of November9th**

(please check work before sending it in Friday...thanks!)

Math - Review page; perimeter and lines.

Spelling - Please remember that your child's spelling words for this week are in his/her agenda. We have been very successful with choosing words, but if you ever feel your child's words are too easy or too hard, please let me know and we'll work on helping your child choose suitable words for him/her. The homework assignment every week will be to write each of the seven words in sentences. Sentences need to be numbered and 5 or more words long, begin with a capital letter, end with punctuation, and the spelling word underlined please. For a challenge, students may try to write these sentences in a paragraph on a theme. Please use lined paper with name, date, and number in the right hand corner. Thank You!

Reading - As you read each day (reading to someone, with someone, or independently), record minutes in the box where your parents sign. On Friday we will graph your total minutes read at home. Also, keep track of those minutes each week at home too and record it on your slip of paper for November--400 minutes or more will get you a personal pizza at Pizza Hut. READ! READ! READ! Please read the Scholastic News, Oct. 19th edition, and complete the back page this week.

Thanks for your support!
