My husband Gary and I have three children who all attend GCS. Hannah is a
senior, Cameron is a freshman, and Clara is in 5th grade. We attend
Bethany Baptist Church in Grand Blanc. I LOVE to teach and I love the
students here at Genesee Christian. I attended Central Michigan University
and received a B.S. in Education with a major in Speech and a minor in
English. I currently am certified to teach those subjects in Michigan in
grades 7 through 12. I attended graduate school for two years at CMU in
Speech Communication and recently I earned a Masters in the Art of
Teaching from Marygrove College. I am looking forward to another exciting
year at GCS! I am difficult to reach by phone, but please feel free to

My mission is to help students at Genesee Christian reach their potential
through the power of Christ.
I will encourage and challenge each one, academically, socially, and
spiritually, recognizing that success and the path TO success may be
different for each one.
I will be attentive to my own actions, thoughts, and words, knowing that
my own daily walk serves as a model to my students.
I will show love and understanding regardless of individual differences,
because each student is created with a unique, God-given purpose and plan.
I will continue to grow and learn from my students even as they grow and
learn from me.
