Halloween Fun

Fancy Word Parade

We had a fantasic week (That's a
fancy word for great) learning
all about Fancy Nancy and her
fancy words. We learned to use
fancy words in a variety of ways.
We also learned that when we come
to a word we're not sure about we
can use our picture clues, and
infer the words meaning.
On Friday we made posters with
fancy words on them and paraded
in fancy clothes with fancy
assessories up and down the halls
of Kellogg. What a "Fancy" week!

Our Whole Fancy Class

St. Patricks Day

The leprechaun came and put
glitter all over the place. We
think he came in through the
window in the bathroom, and went
out through the window by the
treasure chest. He hopped from
desks to desk, and even drew a
picture on our board. We wrote
about him and had great fun!

We're learning our sounds!

Did you ever wonder how a first
grader learned the OO sound as in
foot, and school? We made GOOFY
HOODS! Check out the goofy smiles
to go along with such a fun
lesson!
