DECEMBER ACCELERATED READING GOAL: 2 points, 80% or higher within your reading
range
Dear Parents of the Team,
It is definately beginning to look a lot like Christmas! I love these
good 'ol Michigan winters!
Since we missed Thursday and Friday of last week, we will NOT have a spelling
test this week. We will finish our literature study and skills from last
weeks story.
Also, we will have the New England test this Friday. Please check your
child's Friday Folder for the study sheet.
A few reminders as we go into our last week of the 2009 year…
Our Pancake breakfast is Thursday however, PLEASE send in items on Wednesday.
If I don’t receive an item, I purchase it so we can be sure we have all our
needs since the breakfast is right off the bat on Thursday. If you’ve
volunteered to cook/serve, you’d THRILL your child if you came in your pajamas
since it’s Pajama Day! (If I can do it, so can you :))
Items for the Hospitality House are due on Wednesday. We are getting quite a
nice collection together that will bless this wonderful organization!
Have a great week and upcoming vacation with your family and love every
second with your 3rd grader. The magic of this season escapes them far too
fast as they grow up!
