Greetings! My name is Mary VanderWal. I've been an elementary teacher for 19 years. I graduated from Nazareth College majoring in Elementary Education, Reading, and Fine Arts. I've completed my graduate work and have a Masters of Administration in which I created an Action Research Project on Brain Compatable Learning. I love to teach children according to their individual learning needs. My classroom consists of a TEAM. We spend a lot of time getting to know one another and learning how to effectively communicate. Truth, trust and respect of one's self and others is key to our success as a team. I attempt to work with each child's individual needs. Because of this, I NEED and LOVE to have parent volunteers in the classroom. I hope you can come in to experience what our Third Grade Team is like!
