Our first performance will be the Fall Vocal Showcase at which all Gull Lake
choirs will sing. We'll sing at Richland Bible Church (soft seats and good
acoustics!) Thursday, Nov. 12. Singers should arrive at 6:30 p.m. to warm up.
The concert is from 7:00 - 8:00 p.m.
We wear concert dress: dark pants or jeans OR long dark skirt OR dark skirt
and dark tights; white long-sleeved shirt and a sweater vest which belongs to
the school. Vests went home Oct. 12.
Music for first semester will be:
Woke Up This Morning (a rousing freedom song)
The Night Wind (a mysterious minor song)
Charlotte-Town (a fun folk song with clapping parts)
Calypso Clapping Carol
(for the Holiday Concert -- a jazzy version of a familiar carol)
Al Shlosha (a beautiful Hebrew song we'll sing with Ryan Singers)
