Can you win? http://www.vocabulary.com/ 2009 - 2010 8th Grade Vocabulary will be on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week. We will work with the words throughout the week with a multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, matching and listening test for each unit. While we will try to keep to a regular routine, scheduled breaks will require that we hop around. Please write due dates in your student planners and check often! Please take your vocabulary book home each day to review for a few minutes. Use your master list of all of the Vocabulary Units to mark the words you miss on the tests. Highlight these words when preparing for unit reviews and exams. In 8th grade, you will take only one multiple choice/matching/fill-in-the-blank test for each unit. It will be worth at least 150 points. Total points are used to calculate your grades. You earn your grades point by point. Go to this website to play games with your vocab words!
