Holy Trinity Technology Committee

Agenda

1.       Prayer

2.       Thanks again for all you did last year!

3.       Immediate concerns:

a.       Old laptops

                                                               i.      Put $ in to them to maintain?

                                                             ii.      Location – need 24/7 plug-in to work

1.       Classrooms?

2.       Cart  - but needs to plug in to teacher workroom

                                                            iii.      Still useful for Internet and basic word processing&printing

b.      Server for MAP testing

c.       Invest in Antivirus – real time capabilities

                                                               i.      Which one

                                                             ii.      Pricing

                                                            iii.      Already had 5 “threats” on one tower after only first two months of school!

d.      Call to HP requesting service

                                                               i.      Should be covered with 3 year warranty (on-site)

e.      Additional projector installation in science lab

4.       Long terms concerns

a.       Substantial monies continually set aside for maintenance issues and systems replacement in another 5 years.

b.      Contracting maintenance and upgrades?

c.       Contracting server set up and maintenance?

5.       Any additional concerns (PLEASE MAKE SUGGESTIONS!!!)
