Fund Raisers are even more necessary these days. Many what we used to
deem "normal" costs and expenses are not covered by the school any more.
WHY FUND RAISERS?
- Each year the 7th and 8th bands like to travel to Mackinaw City to perform
in the Memorial Weekend Parade.
- We purchase polo and t-shirts for the bands.
- Other needs for funds may include banners, flags, uniforms, etc.
- $ for room supplies, music, classroom operating needs is not normally used
with fund-raiser $.
BE A BAND SPONSOR - Individuals or Businesses may sponsor the I.H.S. band at
home varsity sports games. An individual sponsor is $10.00, and a business
sponsor is $25.00. Each sponsor's name or chosen message will be announced
at least two times at one of the home varsity football or basketball games
(like an advertisement). Sponsors may be received any time now for next
season. Please send names, message, and check to Ishpeming Band Boosters,
700 North st., Ishpeming, MI 49849. A letter of thanks and recognition will
be sent to each sponsor. Thank you very much everyone!
