Snacks - Please make sure your child brings a nutritional snack such as
cheese and crackers, fruit, veggies and dip, etc. We eat snack at 10:15 -
10:30 every morning. Please, no candy or any other sugary snack.
Lunch - Lunch is at 12:00 - 12:30. A hot lunch costs $2.50, and plus is
$3.75. This includes milk. If your child would like to purchase milk only
the cost is $.50. You may want to open an account for your child where you
can deposit funds to cover the cost of hot lunches. Just make a check out to
Chippewa Valley Food Services and send it to school with your child. I will
make sure it gets to the office.
Field Trips - We are planning on going to the Edsel Ford Estate this
spring. We have also planned a trip to Camp Tamarac and the end of May.
Birthday Treats - Keeping the health and safety of our students in mind,
Mohawk will no longer allow edible birthday treats to be brought to school.
This will help prevent the spread of any viruses, or allergic reactions for
other students. If your child wants to celebrate his/her birthday with
his/her classmates, they are welcomed to bring something small, such as
pencils or stickers to distribute. We have 28 students in class this year.
Classroom Expecatations:
* NO putdowns or teasing!
* We are respectful and courteous to all others. Disrespectful or abusive
talk/behavior will NOT be tolerted in any form.
* We are always honest.
* We leave the property of others alone.
* We keep our hands, feet, and all objects to ourselves.
* We do leave the classroom without teacher permission.
* We enter the classroom only when a teacher is present.
* We maintain a clean and neat work area.
