Mission Statement

My mission is to connect with my students in ways that will enable them to work with me and not against me. I will do whatever is necessary to get involved with my students on a personal level. Visiting them during art, music, gym and lunch is a must. I will watch their basketball, volleyball, and football games. I will find a way to connect to the disconnected.

My mission is to make school as interesting and fun as possible. I will bring enthusiasm and real life applications to all that we do in class. The smile and enthusiasm I have will be infectious to those around me. Children will laugh with me when I make a joke or say something funny to see if they are listening. Students will want to be in my class and learning.

My mission is to teach students respect. Respect for themselves, others and the history we are learning. Students will show respect for others in my classroom. Respect is an attitude that I must demonstrate and share with my students.
