The
Vocal Booster organization was formed at the end of the 1996-1997 school year
to help with fundraising concerns as well as other needs of Vocal Music
students. Vocal Boosters has provided
State sponsored event fees, music scholarships, paid for uniforms, covered transportation costs to and from music events, paid accompanist
fees, and has purchased approximately
50% of all music needed each school year.
Without Vocal Boosters, students would not be offered many of the
musical opportunities that make up an effective, well-rounded music education.
The Boosters meet every other month at 6:00 P.M. in
the Vocal Music room. More information
and a schedule of meetings will be provided in the newsletter “The Voice” which
is published three or four times a year.

Maria Wayward, Volunteer Coordinator and "Voice" editor

This year's meetings are on Mondays, Oct. 1st, Dec. 3rd, Feb. 4th, and April 15th. All meetings start at 6:00 P.M. and last around an hour.
