Week of May 13th-17thAs we begin our non fiction reading unit, students will be choosing a topic to learn more about. Notes will come home this week with your child's topic. It is encouraged that your child have at least two books on their topic of study. Homework this week:*Read at home 4-5 days per week, for at least 30 minutes*Word Study will be due on Friday May 17th. New lists went home on Monday, 5-6*13 Colony Brochure project due May 14th. *Reading and jottings for short stories*13 Colony review and study guide. Unit TEST on May 24th.Students will continue their reading of short stories. These will come home for rereading and jottings of their thinking. This in-depth reading will be necessary for writing next week.
