About The Teacher
Education- - Bachelors Degree from the University of Michigan in Elementary Education - Endorsements in Language Arts and Social Studies - Currenting working on my Masters Degree in reading at Oakland University - 2nd year of teaching at St.Joseph I look forward to having a wonderful year with the 4th graders in Room 412! I hope to inspire in my students the same love for learning and for God that I have.

Mission
I feel that it is essential to stress to students that life is a continuing learning process. As John Dewey states, "Education is not preparation for life; it is life itself." Through teaching, I hope to instill the tools necessary for my students to achieve any goal in life- academic or otherwise. I plan to encourage and teach the importance of life skills that will build character in my students and further their accomplishments in the real world. As a teacher, I am responsible for molding the children of today to be the successors of tomorrow.
