Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oakland University
Master of the Arts in Teaching from Wayne State University
4 years at St. Vincent Ferrer in Madison Heights teaching third grade.
9 years at St. Joseph School as a substitute teacher.
2 years at St. Joseph School as a Junior High Math teacher and 1/2 year as a
4th and 5th grade Science teacher.
This is my fifth year teaching fifth grade full time.
I choose to teach at SJS because I believe God has called me to this ministry.
I find it wonderful to work with students and parents who care so much
about education.
I am honored to be a member of a group of highly educated and trained teachers
who put their heart and soul into educating SJS students everyday.
Nothing outside of my family has given me more pleasure than educating young
children and providing them with the foundation they need to move on to the
next level of learning.
My mission for my students is to prepare them for the leap to middle school. I
am committed to teaching my children to take responsibility for their academic
achievement as well as their everyday actions in the classroom. I challenge my
students to always face the positive or negative consequences of their behavior.
I am also driven to instill in parents the necessity for them to "let go" of
their son or daughter just a little. It is always amazing the way children
rise to your level of expectation. My hope is that together we can prepare
each child for the next phase of their education.
