Welcome to 1st Grade

I hope that you all had a very nice Mother's Day!  I had a wonderful day with my family and couldn't have asked for a better day!

Tomorrow is our trip to Hartley.  We will be leaving here about 9:30-9:45.  We will watch the catapults in the gym and leave directly after that.  Drivers need to be here by 9:30.  Drivers, if you have extra boosters at home, could you please bring them?  It makes it so much easier for the moving around and such.  Otherwise, we'll have them here for you. 

Students are coming home with a checklist so that THEY can pack their bags tonight.  They will pack, check it off and then ask YOU to verify it and be sure they are ready!  Just to let YOU know what's on it: 

They need to WEAR: 

LONG pants
(no shorts allowed due to the pond habitat)
LONG SLEEVED shirt
Boots or shoes they can get wet and gross


They need to PACK in a backpack: 
Shorts
Shoes
Shirt
Underwear
Socks
Plastic Sack to put their wet things in afterwards
Bug Spray
Sunscreen (if you'd like it applied)
LUNCH
(include a drink please.  I have sent home a bag with their names on it so that nothing needs to be brought back and can be thrown away.  I will have a cooler with ice in case of yogurts or cheese or meat that you'd like to pack without a freezer pack.)
