Dear Parents,
Today was our dress rehearsal for tomorrow's performances (9:30 AM and
7:00 PM). If you want to be able to see your child well, sit on the right
side (east) of the Gym facing the stage. Please remember- short sleeve white
shirt, dark pants or skirt and 2 pairs of dark socks. Thank you Mrs.Fear,
Steinhorst, Feldpausch, and Dunn for all your help with the costumes and Mr.
Stechschulte for creating the beautiful sets. It's no wonder we have such a
great school with the kind of parents we have supporting us! Doors open at
6:30 PM tomorrow night. I will dress your child in the classroom with the
help of some 8th graders. After the show, please arrange with your child
where you are to meet each other so we don't have any panic stricken 1st
graders at the end of the performance. They will be sitting on the floor in
front of the seats with me.
Our class is responsible for helping with the Mass this Wednesday, Dec.16,
at 9:00. If you plan to attend, please sit in the 3rd and 4th rows. That way,
they will be able to concentrate on their part in the Mass.
This is a review week for Reading and Spelling. I will be doing some practice
tests with them to get ready for the Unit 2 test on Thursday. Friday will be
the cumulative test of all the spelling words and Challenge words for this
book.
Religion: We continue learning about Advent and our study of the biblical
figures who are on Jesus's family tree-The Jesse Tree.
Math- We continue Topic 7 Subtraction Facts to 12
Science: Animals get ready for winter.
God bless you and your family!
