I am proud to say that I have been teaching at St.Paul's for the past 19
years. It is my home away from home. The families I have been priviledged to
work with over the years have kept me wanting to come back each year.
I was born in New York City, lived there and on Long Island for the
first 15 years of my life.I then moved with my family to Maryland where my
father worked for the Federal Government. I attended Notre Dame Prep- an all-
girls Catholic High School and then received my BS in Early Childhood
Education from Towson University. My teaching career began in Maryland
teaching kindergarten in the public schools. I moved to Michigan in 1972 and
raised two daughters, taking ten years off from teaching while they were
young. The older is Jeannette, who graduated from U of M and is a 1st Grade
teacher in West Bloomfield schools. She is the mother of my
grandchildren Jakob(7)and,Joshua (4) and Christina (18 mo.). My
younger daughter,Erin,is the mother of my grandaughter Madeline(7) and
grandson Evan (3 1/2). She also graduated from U of M and Hurley Hospital and
is a certified Medical Technologist.
I live in Swartz Creek. I belong to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church
in Flushing where I serve as a lector and Eucharistic Minister. My hobbies
are walking,gardening,reading,and grandmothering.
