Hello all:
Thank-you to all of the parents who accompanied us on our trip to Mackinac
Island. What a great day we had. We were blessed with such lovely weather.
I think the boat ride was all that the students hoped it would be...full of
spray! and chilly! You can be proud of your child. Everyone was very well
behaved, respectful and kind to one another. I heard many compliments from
the workers on the island about this group. Thank-you for all of your help
and support getting us to and from the island.
Thank-you too, to all of the parents who were able to join us for our
science fair last Friday. The exhibits were awesome! I was particularly
proud of our students for the way they explained their projects to the other
students who came to visit our fair. They had to present their explanations
many times in the three hours we were in the gym! They kept their
presentations fresh. Everyone was interested to listen to them. The
teachers were FULL of compliments about the 7th graders' work. Parents too
had many good things to say about our students. Thank-you for the help and
support you gave to your child to help him/her do his/her best work.
We are REALLY winding down in the school year. You can be sure that your
child is ready to take his/her place as one of the leaders in our school
next year. They are a great group of students. We are blessed to have ALL of
these 7th graders!
