OBJECTIVE:
My goal is to establish and maintain discipline, and share my love of
learning. I will strive to meet my student’s educational and developmental
needs, by assessing their strengths and weaknesses. I will work towards
keeping students, parents, and staff updated through effective
communication.
SUMMARY:
I have worked for 30 years in public and parochial
education. I have taught PS-5th grade and worked as a remedial reading
consultant. In addition, I have worked as a tutor with the Ortin-Gillingham
program. I am professional, organized, and flexible in dealing with staff
and students. I am dependable, hardworking, and have an optimistic outlook
on life. I enjoy working with a variety of people. I have participated in a
numerous continuing education workshops throughout my career. Some areas of
study included: computers, discipline, creative drama, and
"Handwriting Without Tears".
