What does Club R.A.D. stand for?
Club R.A.D. stands for Club Research And Discover.
What is Club R.A.D.?
Club R.A.D. is a free club which was created to enable Mrs.
Scheske's students to learn new things by researching information
in books, magazines, and on the Internet.
How do I join Club R.A.D.?
It's simple - just grab a book or hop on the computer and start
doing some research and answer one or more of the questions that is
posted for the week. Once you have your answers, e-mail them or
write them down and put them on Mrs. Larimers's desk in the
classroom. Make sure your name is on you answer sheet and don't
forget to double check the spelling of your answers. You will earn
points for each correct answer and get your name listed on the Club
R.A.D. Scoreboard. The more questions you answer correctly, the
more points you earn. The student that has the most points at the
end of each quarter wins a cool prize!
Where can I find answers to the questions?
Anywhere - be creative. You can research the question in books,
magazines, encyclopedias, on the Internet, or check with family or
friends.
How many questions do I need to answer?
That is up to you. You can answer all of them or none at all - you
will only receive points for each correct answer that you hand in.
But remember the following:
Once you turn in your answer you can't go back and submit a
different answer, however you may submit your answer to each
question all at once or separately.
The answer must be correct and spelled CORRECTLY to earn the
points. If it's misspelled you won't receive any points.
How long do I have to answer the questions?
You have two weeks to answer each set of questions. Once the two
weeks are up, you will no longer be able to earn points on those
questions.
