1) Collectively decide on an individual to research, based on the list of 25
names that was presented to you.
2) Decide on roles: who will research the background information of the
person--lifespan, birthplace, childhood, and briefly, what the person is known
for? Who will focus on the significant accomplishments of the person? Who
will research the impact of this person on society?
3) Begin research using the given websites.
4) In Microsoft Word, type one to two pages about your particular area of
research.
5) Share information with the others in your group and decide how you can tie
each of your research areas together for coherence.
6) Decide what information is most important for your presentation.
7) Search online for images, timelines, or important documents that you could
use in your video presentation. Save these in a common folder.
8) Match up these images with your research information.
9) Narrow down your research information and write an outline for your
(keeping your images in mind as you work).
10) Put your video together with slides including written information and images.
11) Record your oral presentations.
12) Finalize your video: make corrections, check the length, add details,
check spelling, etc.
13) Do a dry run with your video.
14) Present your video.
15) Evaluate the members of your group and submit.
