Questions Lots of Parents Ask...
How do you celebrate birthdays?
Birthdays are a special time when the class celebrates each student individually and takes time out of our day to congratulate him or her on growing a year older. I would like to continue that tradition this year in a new way. Since students will no longer bring a treat or toy to pass out to the class I thought we could take this opportunity to get to know each other better instead. Every year kids beg for a chance to bring something in to show the class. So this year I would like to encourage students to “show and tell” about something that is special to them on his or her special day. It could be photographs and souvenirs of a special trip, or scheduling time for a parent or pet to visit our classroom. The class will brainstorm a list of ideas the first week of school, and bring it home!Back to Top
