About The Teacher
I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood (ages infant-9yrs.). This is my eleventh year of teaching and my eighth year in Saline. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions. I enjoy working together with parents to make third grade a positive and productive experience for each child. I look forward to having parent volunteers come in and work in the classroom. E-mail is the best way to get in touch with me. I usually check my voicemail once a day, right after school. E-mail comes up on my blackberry immediately, which I check several times a day (kisera@saline.k12.mi.us). Often I return the message within an hour or two of receiving it.

Mission
We will develop goals for the year during the first few weeks of school. Students will be involved in the process of writing our class rules. Past experience has shown the benefit of students taking 'ownership' of classroom procedures, jobs, and rules.
