Starting in 2nd marking period, my policy on homework is changing in keeping with the foreign language homework policy at Lakeshore and the High School. Since this is a high school course, I feel it is important to have high school expectations for homework.

 

Homework is graded on completion, not accuracy (unless specifically stated otherwise). Therefore, all completed homework that is turned in ON TIME will earn full credit and incomplete or homework not done will earn a zero. There will no longer be half credit for homework partially done. There will be no credit given for late work. If a student is absent, they will have time to makeup that homework. But in order to give prompt feedback on the vocab/concept we're working on, I will check the homework at the beginning of the hour and will go over it with the students to make sure what they have is correct.
