Can my child bring in a treat to celebrate his/her birthday?

Yes!! We love to celebrate with our friends. Just jot a quick note the day
before, so that I know to expect a birthday treat!

How can I help my 3rd grader at home?

The best thing to do is check their assignment books and back pack daily.
In the backpack you will find assignments to go over with your child as well
as important notes and assignments that can be done at home. Make sure to
ask your child every day what they did in school.

What should I do if I have a question about my child's progress?

Please call and make an appointment with me. I have an open door policy and
believe that excellent communication between the home and school is the only
way to ensure that all children in my classroom are successful. I would be
happy to meet with you before or after school to discuss any issue. You can
also call me at (313) 295-5812.
