I am pleased to write this is my fifth year at Randall Elementary. I
taught second grade for three years and last year I moved to third. I love
teaching about Michigan!
The past seventeen years teaching in Taylor has afforded me many great
opportunities. I have taught first through sixth grade and have had many
wonderful experiences throughout Taylor Schools.
My husband, Rick, just retired after working for Taylor Schools for thirty
three years! He is looking forward to the next phase of his life.
We have two daughters whom we are very proud of! Meagan is 29 and is a
marketing manager for WJLB and Carli is 25 and living in New York working for
Michael Kors.
I love to walk in the morning, read anytime and spent much of my summer
at water aerobics. This year I also took up Zumba. It's a riot! My husband and
I love going to movies, going out to eat and playing euchre or dominoes with
friends.
Finally, I love being a teacher. I went back to school and decided to be
a teacher when I was in my thirties. That was one of the best decisions I
have ever made!!
My goal is to provide the curriculum in such an enthusiastic and engaging
manner that kids will LOVE coming to school! I want to foster a passion for
lifelong readers and inspire students to be lifelong learners.
