About The Teacher
I've been teaching in Taylor Schools since 1974. I earned a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Michigan, a master's degree in elementary education from Eastern Michigan University, and a master's degree in math from the University of Detroit. I've taught grades kindergarten through 8th grade, but have specialized in 1st grade 18 of the last 19 years.

I expect our students to learn as much as they can every day. Our class gets guided reading instruction, centers activities to reinforce learning and science instruction from kits to heighten interest in the world around us.
