Homework Nightly homework should consist of the following: Please read! Please read to your child each night.Please also have your child read to you. Make sure they are pointing to each word as it is read (one to one correspondence). You may read to your child and ask comprehension questions. Some examples are: 1. Who are the characters in the story? Who is the main character? 2. What happened in the beginning of the story? The middle? The end? 3. Have you made any text to text connections? Text to self? 4. Where does the story take place?(setting) Daily homework may also consist of Math about 4 times a week. Please remember to send back Math homework the next day. Weekly homework packet comes home every Friday. Homework packet is due the following Friday. Please send in the entire packet for grading.
