AnySoldier Mission Project
Dear Parents,
Our school will participate in a service mission project and we need your
help! The project is called anysoldier and is an effort to send care packages
to soldiers who do not receive much mail. Each care package will include a
Bible and devotional as well as some other necessities. We will use the
mission money collected from both campuses to cover the cost of shipping and
purchasing materials. Our goal is to be able to send 75 boxes. We plan to
spend about $20 per box, which includes the cost of shipping and the cost of
the Bible and devotional. Students have been bringing in missions each
Friday, but we also need the following items.
Suggested items for the 6th Grade care package:
- sunscreen (at least 50 SPF)
- chap stick with sunscreen
- hard candy - magazines
- pre-packaged/non-perishable snacks, cookies, ect.
- books
- eye drops
- gum
- puzzle books, cards
Your child may bring in the items and place them in the box located in our
classroom at any time. We hope to collect lots of items in the next 6 weeks.
We will be having a family night on Veterans’ Day (Nov. 11) to pack the boxes
and prepare them for shipping.
For now, please send in any items you wish to donate and keep reminding your
child to bring in mission money as their heart is moved.
