Our grammar practice will be working with irregular plural nouns such as
wolf/wolves and goose/geese.
Skillwork: Comprehension by making inferences and analyzing to determine fact
or opinion.
Our reading chapter will carry over the next two weeks due to the
Thanksgiving holiday and the following week being a four day week. With our
field trip Wednesday, this gives us one more day than usual for covering a
chapter in our reading curriculum over the next two weeks.
We continue to to work with decimals, adding and subracting decimals
and making estimates using decimal numbers. The BIG picture here is "to keep
the decimals lines up!"
Continue the workon multiplication facts! Our classes 50's club already has
18 "members!"
Science we will finish our unit on light and sound with a light and sound
unit assessment on Tuesday.
The following week the students will be going to Mr. Andrew's classroom to
learn about a new region of the United States during Social Studies.
