Food shelf collection items needed:
Rice(plain-unseasoned), canned fruit, canned tomatoes, pancake syrup,
Jam/Fruit preserves, cake frosting, crackers, canned meat, Meal Helpers(boxed
dinners). The collectionwill be Monday, February 8th.

Vocabulary words; responsibility, patchwork, sores, midst, loosened,
amazement, and mysterious.
We will be working on linking verbs such as the chief is wise and the horse
looked strong, reviewing tense and agreement of linking verbs for our grammar
lessons. Our skills will be working with the dictionary and homophones
(soar/sore), and to improve comprehension we will continue with summarization
and include sequence.
Math Lessons we will continue to practice division and take our Unit 6 test
and a mid year assessment.
We will be working on an art project that will require a lot of yarn and many
different colors. I am requesting that each student bring in a package of
yarn (or two if you are able) by Wednesday, February 10th. Thank you so much
