Spelling words for this week are; rush, northern, brush, shed, thanks,
washer, photo, graph, whole, these, fifth, whisk, thirty, bother, shove,
phrase, headphone, width, nowhere,whirl, arch, ketchup, cheap, theater,
wherever.
Vocabulary words we are studying are; border, unions, strikes, citizen, and
boycotts..
Our grammar practice will be working with singular and plural nouns ending
with -es and -ies.
Skillwork: Inferences
Math unit four begins to work with decimals, adding and subracting decimals
and making estimates using decimal numbers.
Science we are working with Sound.
This week is the Book Fair and our class will be working VERY hard to win the
prize for collecting the most money during the coin drive during this week
November 16th-20th!
Monday= Pennies
Tuesday=Nickels
Wednesday=Dimes
Thursday=Quarters
Friday=Any denomination bills, change, checks :)
