2009-2010 CANBY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SUPPLY LIST

 

LITTLE LEARNERS- T & TH Group:  Large backpack, 1 or 2 pocket folders – any solid color (NO pictures), 2 boxes of unopened crackers for snack (please check the nutritional content of the snack you choose) & 1 package of small paper plates.

LITTLE LANCERS-M,W & F Mornings Group: Large backpack, 1 or 2 pocket folders any solid color (NO pictures), 1 box 8 small Carolya Crayons, ice cream pail & 1 container of Clorox wipes. 

LITTLE LANCERS-T, W & TH Afternoon group:  Large backpack, 1 or 2 pocket folders -any solid color (NO pictures), box of 100 count 5oz. paper cups, 1 box unopened crackers for snack & 8 small Crayola Crayons.

 

KINDERGARTEN:  Box of 8 small crayons, 1 folder with pockets across the bottom, school box to store pencils, etc., one large box of tissue, Fiskar’s Children’s scissors, Elmer’s White glue, 8 large glue sticks (more will be needed during the year), 4 pencils, large towel for rest time, 1 box Ziplock Bags – quart or gallon size, Clorax wipes, clean tennis shoes for gym and a bookbag.

 

FIRST GRADE:  1 box of 12 sharpened #2 yellow pencils, 4 erasers, 1 wide-lined spiral notebook, 1 box of washable Classic Color Markers, 2 boxes of 24 crayons, 3 pocket folders (1 red, 1 blue & 1 green), Elmer’s white glue, 8 glue sticks, book bag, 1 large box of tissue, scissors, small box to hold supplies, 2 gallon OR 1 quart size Ziploc bags, 1 container anti-bacterial wipes and clean tennis shoes for gym. 

 

SECOND GRADE:  1 box of 12 sharpened #2 yellow pencils, 2 erasers, soft pencil case, 2 glue sticks, Elmer’s white glue, box of 24 crayons, 1 large box of tissue, backpack, small box to hold supplies, 1 wide-lined spiral notebook, 2 folders – your choice, 3 folders (1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow), colored pencils, 1 little pencil sharpener (to use on the colored pencils), Fiskar’s scissors (with pointed end), 1 highlighter, 1 box of Crayola Washable Markers, and clean tennis shoes for gym.  1 35ct. disinfectant wipes and Mrs. Drietz’s Rm. one box gallon size Ziplock bags and Mrs. Kubat’s Room 1 box of  quart size Ziplock bags.

 

THIRD GRADE:  Box of crayons (any size), 12 #2 pencils – NO MECHANICAL PENCILS, pencil top erasers, Fiskar’s scissor, box of colored pencils, one soft pencil case, 3 large boxes of tissue, 2 plain red folders with pockets at bottom (not sides), 2 large bottles of Elmer’s school glue, 6 large glue sticks, box of Crayola washable markers, 1 box of Ziploc bags quart size and clean tennis shoes for gym.  Certain supplies may need to be replaced around Christmas time:  Crayons, glue, pencils, erasers, tissue and markers. 

 

FOURTH GRADE:  Package of loose-leaf paper, 6 folders, 1 package of #2 pencils, colored pencils, erasers, 1 red ballpoint pen, 1 highlighter, zippered pencil bag, box of 24 or 48 crayons, school scissors, glue stick or Elmer’s school glue, 2 large boxes of tissue, 1 box of Ziploc bags (sandwich, quart OR gallon size), 1 package of 100 3x5” lined index cards and clean tennis shoes for gym.  Please remember that supplies need to be replaced throughout the year as needed.  NO TRAPPERS or 3-ring binders, please.

Mrs. Morris’ Room only add:  6 large glue sticks & Elmer’s school glue, 1 container of hand sanitizer (unscented), & 1 small battery operated pencil sharpener. 

 

FIFTH GRADE:  2 college-ruled wireless notebooks, pack of wide-lined loose leaf paper, 4 glue sticks, 4 folders, colored pencils, 1 large box of tissue, crayons, 1 set Crayola markers, soft pencil case, pencils, erasers, scissors, 1 highlighter and clean tennis shoes for gym.  NO TRAPPERS OR MECHANICAL PENCILS.

 

SIXTH GRADE:  #2 pencils, colored pencils, big pinkie eraser, loose-leaf paper, markers, large glue stick, Elmer’s glue, 2 highlighters, 4 folders, 1 large box of tissue, 2 notebooks, scissors, 1 ballpoint pen, ruler (metric/customary), an inexpensive calculator and clean tennis shoes for gym.
