About The Teacher
I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota in Morris in 1997, and my Master's Degree from St. Mary's University in 2005. I began my teaching career in my hometown of Waseca, MN. I taught 2nd grade at Sacred Heart school for two years, with some of my former teachers! I also taught 2nd grade at Hartley Elementary School. I came to Cannon Falls in 2001, where I started out in second grade. I changed my teaching position to third grade a year later. After teaching third grade for five years, the opportunity came up for me to move back to second grade and I jumped at it! This is my third year back in second grade and I’m excited to share this journey with your child! My husband and I live in Northfield with our 3-year-old daughter, Katie, and our 6-month-old son, Ben.
