 LATEST EVENTS:

We will have our Valentine Party on Feb. 14th.  Valentine boxes are optional.  Class lists were sent home last week to make Valentines. 

No school on Monday, Feb. 18th. 

Conferences will be held February 25th and 26th.  Confirmation notes on times will be sent home on Friday, Feb. 15th. 

Lots of illness going on in our school!  Watch out for strep and the flu.  Those seem to be quite popular these days!

READING:  We are beginning Theme 3 this week:  Voices of the Revolution!

SPELLING:  assignment is due Feb. 13th  test on Friday, 15th

LANGUAGE:  We are doing review skills.  If the kids pass a review page with 90% or better, they will not have to take a test on that skill.  So far, they are all passing the skills!  Way to Go!

MATH:  This week we are doing lessons 5-7, 5-8, 5-9.  The kids are also testing on 5-1 - 5-7.

SOCIAL STUDIES:  We are continuing our Government unit with elections, electoral votes, and the 3 branches of government. The test will be next week (date to be announced).
