PHYSICAL EDUCATION and HEALTH (Mrs.Marklevits) Quarters 2 and 3
MONDAY, January 4, 2010 Back to Phy. Ed. Students will begin a basketball
unit. The basketball unit will run through January 15th. The next round of
Health class runs from January 18 - January 28.
Students need a folder, notebook, and something to write with for class.
*If a student uses an inhaler, meds,etc., please inform the health office and
then students who need to take them will always have my OK to have them
before, during, and/or after class whenever applicable.
*P.E. MAKE-UP: Students need to see me to make arrangements about what they
missed or will miss in class and what needs to be done for their daily
points.
Life Science (Huseth)
2/1: clock partners. Intro. to chapter 7.
2/2: notes and discussion on chapter 7. Galapagos video.
2/3: Fossils. notes and examples, no homework.
2/4: Natural Selection. Lab: Peppered Moths - due Friday.
2/5: Finish Lab, create graphs and analyze data. Read section 3 for Monday.
2/8: Notes on section 3. Review game: "Looping."
2/9: Review for chapter 7 quiz. Worksheet and optional extra credit due
tomorrow.
2/10: Chapter 7 Quiz. Read and outline Chapter 9, sect.1 (pp222-227) for
tomorrow.
2/11: simple classification examples. Notes on Classification.
2/12: Leaf Lab - due Tuesday. Read and outline chapter 9, sect. 2.
2/16: Video: Classification. Finish outlining sect 2.
