Announcements small medium large DAILY ANNOUNCEMENT Monday, December 07, 2009 This Day in History: 1941 - The Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor. MENU: Tacos/Nachos w/fixings or Ham Sandwich, Mexican Rice, Rosie Applesauce and Milk. 7th/8th GRADERS: Health class starts today! HS CHOIR: "B" week for choir. WINTER FORMAL FLOWERS: Flowers will be for sale Tuesday-Friday this week during first and second lunch. Send a flower to your sweetheart, formal date or just a friend. NHS MEMBERS: We will hold an important meeting on Tuesday at 12:45 p.m. in the auditorium. Please be attendance for we will be finalizing details for the food drive next week. HEAD OF THE LINE: Want to leisurely stroll down to lunch and still go to the head of the lunch line? Get caught doing a good deed, helping out a teacher or a student, doing something for the good of the school, good manners, or another positive action. If you get a ticket, you can move to the head of the lunch line and turn it in to the cashier. Tickets are good for a one- time use only, and only one student per ticket. JUNIORS/SENIORS: North Central University in Minneapolis will have a rep. in our Guidance office this Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Please stop ahead of time if you would like to find out more about what this college has to offer. 1ST QUARTER 6TH GRADE ART STUDENTS: Attention 1st Quarter 6th Grade Art Students: Please pick up your ceramic masks from Mr. Zimmerman sometime this week. DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT: Grades 9-12, its holiday dodge ball tournament time again! Wednesday, December 16th at 6:30. Sign ups start on Monday, first come, first serve. $10.00 a team and a requirement of two girls per team. Only sixteen teams accepted so get going on this! HS WINTER FORMAL: Ticket sales for the "Candy Land" winter formal go on sale today! It will be held at the CCC on Saturday, December 19th from 9:00- 12:00. Come listen to the awesome music of DJ Pat Dougherty and watch the guest DJ's compete for fabulous prizes! Tickets are $8.00 in advance and $10.00 at the door. MS "SNOWBALL" DANCE: The Middle School Student Council presents the 1st annual “Snow Ball” When: Saturday, Dec. 12 - Time: 7:00pm-10:00pm (Please pick up your child NO LATER than 10pm!) Where: High School Gym WEST ENTRANCE ONLY. Dress is casual-semi formal. Cost: $5.00 per person or $3.00 with food shelf (non-perishable) food donation. Buddy pictures and buttons are available: $5.00 for a button and $2.00 for a 4X6. Refreshments also available for 75 cents each. Cannon Falls students in grades 6-8 grade only. Fun and prizes.
