What is NOT okay to bring for morning milk/snack break?
Because our milkbreak is at 9 o'clock in the morning, I will not be allowing cookies, candy, or cake for milkbreak. No chocolate candy bars, but granola bars are okay. Most "chips" are not healthy, however there are some healthy kinds of chips. Those would be okay. I have shared with your child about fruits, veggies, and proteins such as hard boiled eggs, nuts, meat, and peanut butter on crackers or veggies. These are excellent morning snack that will help supply your child with the energy he/she needs to do well in school.Back to Top
Do you need help in the classroom?
I have many people who wish to help in the class. This is great. I will only be able to have you help on a specific day at a specific time. It is very difficult for me to have random schedules. It doesn't work well. I need helpers between 9:30 until 10:30ish, three days a week. Let me know if you can help at this time on Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday. Thanks!Back to Top
On all five day weeks, spelling tests will be on Fridays. On four day weeks, the spelling tests will be on Thursdays.Back to Top
How will we know when to send back the library/accelerated reader books?
The day before library day I will send a reminder home to bring the library books back the next day. When we start AR, the kids will have 7 days to read their book several times, (to YOU and silently) before having to take their computer test BEFORE THE NEXT LIBRARY DAY.Back to Top
