CANNON FALLS MIDDLE SCHOOL 6/7/8 SUPPLY LIST

 

AGENDA BOOK:

All students should have some kind of agenda book. The school store will have agenda books for sale at the open house for $5.00.

 

6TH GRADE SUPPLY LIST:

 

6 Single Subject Notebooks: Wide-lined spiral; approximately 70 count

8 Pocket Folders: 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow, 2 green (all with prongs)

1 Pocket Folder

Colored Pencils – MUST HAVE!

Pencils/erasers:  Have extras!

1 large box Kleenex

2 large or 5 small Gluesticks

4 red checking pencils

1 pkg. or 1 tablet Graph Paper

Tennis Shoes for Phy Ed

#2B wooden pencil for Art (not a mechanical pencil)

White eraser for Art

 

7TH AND 8TH GRADE SUPPLY LIST:

 

 

ART SUPPLIES:

·         9X12 Sketch pad (white), five sheets of tag board (bring when needed), glue sticks, and scotch tape.  These things are needed for all different classes and you will need them on hand throughout the year.  You do not need to bring them until needed.

 

COLORED PENCILS/MARKERS:

·         Colored pencils required for all classes, and a set of non-permanent 8-12 markers.

 

FOLDERS:

·         Ten folders to keep loose paper and assignments. 

 

NOTEBOOKS:

·         Have at least one per subject (8). 

·         Two for English

·         Two for Math

 

PAPER: 

·         Math - One package of loose-leaf paper

·         One package of multi-colored construction paper

 

PENCILS/ERASERS/PENS:

·         Blue or Black Pens

·         Highlighters

·         Pencils (only pencils are allowed for math class)

 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION:

·         T-shirts

·         Athletic Shorts

·         Tennis Shoes

·         Sweatpants/Sweatshirts for cooler days

·         Personal Hygiene Products

·         Combo lock for gym locker - always lock up your things!

 

RING BINDERS:

·         1-inch wide ring binder with a hard cover. (Math)

 

ETC:

·         Book bag (no book bags will be allowed in class, please keep in locker)

·         Kleenex - Two Boxes, bring to advisor

·         Scientific calculator - Texas Solar Instrument preferred

·         Student Atlas - Geography (Available at book stores, Target, Wal-Mart, etc.)

 

*The school provides no medications for students.  If a family would like to keep OTC medications for occasional use in the year, it should be brought to the school nurse with a note signed by a parent. Please discuss inhalers with the nurse.
