I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving and are ready for some snow! I think it's coming soon...
Mrs. Aus is out ill today, so she would like to postpone the Mesopotamia Test until Thursday. There is a study guide with answers on the homework page. This is one I used when I taught Social Studies - so it may not be exactly the same, but the content should be very similar.
Today in Language Arts we went to the library and heard about the books nominated for the Maud Hart Lovelace award this year. They all sound like great books! If a student reads or listens to three books, they can vote for their favorite one in March. The is a Minnesota book award. If you'd like to see a list of the books up for the awards, check out the media center website.
Just a reminder that the end of the trimester is on Thursday, and there will be no school on Friday.

One more thing...if you have any extra photographs (you won't get them back) of your kids that we could send to our pen pals in Uganda, please send them in. The kids there would love to see pictures of kids in sports, outside- especially in snow, or anything else you think looks like fun. They will hang them all up at their school. Thanks!
