Objectives: Students will gain knowledge about physical forces around them. Students will explore Newton's laws, energy, and gravity in this unit.
Vocabulary: See vocabulary link below. Vocabulary words need to be written correctly, numbered, underlined, include part of speech (noun, verb, adjective, adverb), and have the science definition for each word.
Assignments: Students will do various lab activities, reading assignments, vocabulary, CD-roms, and video reviews. I will e-mail home updates periodically during the unit through "Cougar Communications."
Evaluation: All labs and activities are graded. There is a final at the end of the unit and several quizzes. See end of the unit review link below to see unit review.
