Jan. 4, 2010
Language Arts:  Vocabulary words this week are: abjure, emit, monopolize, jeopordize, wane.  Root Word(s) are Anthro/Homo=man (human).  Vocabulary words are Due Wednesday, 1/6 and Root Worksheet is Due Friday, 1/8.  As always, Reading 25 minutes per night and log on SSR Log.  
Math:  Graph Morris 1 & Morris 2 by tomorrow.
Social Studies:  Map work on Map of the Revolutionary War.
Jan. 5th, 2010
Language Arts:  Vocabulary Words are Due tomorrow.  SSR reading day tomorrow, students must bring a book to class.  Students are working on Compound, Complex, and Simple Sentences.  Worksheet handed out in class today is due tomorrow.
Math:  Morris, Boris, and Doris are due tomorrow (Scale Graphing exercise).  Students had most of class period to do this project today, but still a number of students didn't finish.
Social Studies:  Students completed a Timeline of the Battles of the Revolutionary War & took a quiz today.
Science:  Students need to complete the Leaf Packet.  Today students worked on a plant/leaf Lab exercise.

Language Arts:  Complex Sentence Worksheet is Due Thursday, 1/7.  Sentence Quiz Tomorrow, 1/7 (complex, compound, simple sentences).  Root Worksheet (Anthro/Homo=man) Due Friday, 1/8
Math:  Worksheet on Boris, Morris, and Doris Due FRIDAY, 1/8.  Presentation on cyber-bullying tomorrow during Math class.
Social Studies:  Revolutionary War Packet is Due Tomorrow, 1/7.
Science:  Leaf Packet due Thurs., 1/7.  Test on Plants on Friday, 1/8
