NewsFlash & Homework

Nov. 6, 2009
Language Arts:  Reading!  Read 25 minutes each day and log on SSR Log.  Word Diary is coming up on Tues., 11/24.  Be sure and record any words that you don't understand or are new to you while you are reading!
 
Math:  No New Assignment!  Students had Bullying Curriculum today; Worksheet on Adding Integers is Due & will be graded on Tues. 11/10.
 
Science:  Test (Protist) on Tuesday!  Students have notes and a study packet to prepare for the test.
 
Social Studies:  Colonies & Slave Trade test was today...No Homework over the Weekend!  Get Out and Enjoy the Great Weather!
 
Nov. 10, 2009
Language Arts:  Vocabulary Due Tomorrow!  Imploringly, sullenly, hue, subside, elude, wistfully, doggedly, conviction, detached, racking.  Root Words Carn/Corp = Body
Root Worksheet Due on Friday, 11/13
Word Diaries are Due 11/24           Students started The Outsiders by SE Hinton Today....
 
Math:  Work completed in Class (adding Integers).  Tomorrow is subtracting integers.  Students may have a difficult time with this concept.
 
Social Studies:  No homework!  Get outside, if possible...
 
Science:  Students took the Protist Test today.  Tomorrow Bread Mold Write Up!
 
Nov. 11, 2009
Language Arts:  Reading 25 minutes and log on SSR Log.  Root Worksheet Due on Friday (11/13).
Math  3.4 P. 25 in Blue workbook (subtracting integers)
Social Studies & Science:  No homework!
 
Nove. 12, 2009
Language Arts:  Students are reading The Outsiders (realistic fiction).  Each student has a book assigned to them and need to read to page 36 by Monday (11/16).  Most students are to about pages 15 - 18 currently.  Root Worksheet is Due tomorrow 11/13 (Carn/Corp).  Lit Skills worksheet (Idioms) is due on Tues. 11/17.
 
Math:  Worksheet on adding and subtraction integers due tomorrow (many students have this worksheet almost done).  Quiz on coordinate planes tomorrow!
 
Social Studies & Science:  No homework
