This week has been spent introducing the Mayan Civilization of Middle
America and our upcomping stations. Because we have a limited time with
students due to computer skills, students will be moving through a series of
stations that address the elements of the Mayan civilization as well as Ms.
Thomson's mystery unit. We will be finishing stations after Thanksgiving and
there will be a final test at the end. We will culminate our Maya/Mystery
unit by exploring a Mayan Mystery which takes place througout the Yucatan
Peninsula.
FYI ~ Our H2O for Life Fundraiser has begun! Each student has received a
bright pink order form that offers t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, hoodies,
and aluminum/stainless steel water bottles. If you have not seen and order
form and would like to purchase something, feel free to contact me. I will
see if I can get a printable version of the order form online for you. All
orders and money are due no later than Friday, November 20 and delivery is
promised prior to our winter break.
