I was born and raised in the "driftless" zone of southeastern Minnesota in
the town of Chatfield. Upon graduating in the year 2000 (class of the
millennium!) I attended Winona State University and earned my B.S. in
Elementary Education and 5-8 Science. I taught one year of 6th grade Willow
Creek Middle School in the Rochester, MN school district while earning my
M.S. in Education from Winona State University. This is my 6th year teaching
8th Grade Earth Science at Centennial Middle School. Besided teaching, I
also coach 8th grade football and the middle school wrestling team, as well
as advise various school clubs.
My wife, Pam, and I reside in Circle Pines, MN. Our son, Owen, was born this
past summer. He is our first child and absolutly adorable! We also have a
dog, Kirby, who is a mini Australian Sheppard. I love to fish year round, as
well as follow and watch all my Minnesota sports teams.
