Grading Procedures

We spend a lot of time doing group work with the teacher utilizing
informal assessments; such as observations, interviews, and
checklists. We do score Spelling, Math, and Reading skill tests as a
percentage. We use E, M, And G on report cards in Second Grade.

E=Experiencing Difficulties. The student is struggling to master a
certain skill, subject, or content area. The student is not making
adequate progress, and may be falling behind the rest of the class.

M=Meeting Expectations. The student is making adequate progress
towards learning a certain skill, subject, or content area.

G=Going Beyond. The student is progressing above typical expectations
for a certain skill, subject, or content area.
