Hi, my name is Brandon Welle I am the PE teacher at Hancock. I am originally
from Melrose, MN and I graduated from Melrose High School in 2004.
I attended Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall, MN. While
attending I played intercollegiate football for the SMSU Mustangs. I
graduated with degrees in Physical Education, Health, Adapted Physical
Education, and coaching.
It is my third year teaching and coaching in Hancock. I teach PK-10 grade
Physical Education and 9th grade Health. I am the Assistant Football, Jr.
High Basketball, and Head Baseball Coach for the boys programs here in
Hancock.
The mission of Physical Education is to empower all students to sustain
regular, lifelong physical activity as a foundation for a healthy, productive
and fulfilling life.
Physical Education is a sequential educational program. It is based on
physical activities undertaken in an active, caring, supportive and
nonthreatening atmosphere in which every student is challenged and
successful. Students with disabilities are provided with a learning
environment that is modified, when necessary, to allow for maximum
participation.
